It’s almost time – can you hear the weekend is calling and the Conductors will turn 30.
Just a final update on what to enjoy when you get Nashville for our anniversary weekend.
 
Our Conductor pledge has a special request
 
Part of his pledge duties Kelvin is putting together a basket to auction off during our 30th Anniversary run (Track  XXX  X-treme Run).  He is hoping to get a Club T-shirt or other item that represents your club to include in this basket.   He is asking for a size large T shirt or other item (cap, mug, etc.) from each club so whoever wins this basket can enjoy the brotherhood of not just the Conductors, but the Leather culture around the country.  Pledge Kelvin is looking forward to meeting each of you and getting to know more about your clubs and your members this weekend in Nashville.
 
17 Cocktail Parties
 
To all the clubs hosting – thank you very much for your support.
This year, we hope all the clubs hosting will attempt to supply a non-alcoholic drink to match their alcohol punch or open bar.
 
Leather Archives
 
We are fortunate to host a historical showing of items from the Leather Archives.
Showing will take place on the 9th floor – times will be available for viewing throughout the weekend.
 
Leather Swap
 
If you have begun to review your leather items and want to get in on the Swap, our Web site is beginning to build with items.

Boot Black Bonanza
Well – it is spring time and that means spring cleaning.
What better way to get your boots – and I mean ALL of your boots done in one weekend.
Bring them all to the Conductor Run and let our Extreme Bootblack Team make them shine like new again.  All funds raised will go to our PWA Charity Fund.
 
Barber Service
 
If you don’t have time to cut/trim/shave before the Run - your favorite Conductor Barber Chris E. will be offering his services Friday night – 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  Send him a note and he’ll be sure to arrange a time for you.

Saturday Morning – “In Room Coffee Visit”
 
Our Seattle based Alumni – Joe Deputla – is planning to offer coffee room service Saturday morning.
He will have a sign-up sheet at registration and is hoping to bring his Seattle Beans for blending.  When you check in on Friday night, be sure to watch for Joe and his sign-up sheet.  (Knowing Joe, if he can pull this off, it will be a memorable “knock knock – it’s Joe – your coffee service” early morning room visit)

Leather Family and Friends!

The countdown is on to Track XXX – our Extreme Theme Run.

Plans are coming to a climax and we just wanted to share some hi-lights.

Leather Swap

Is it time to do some Spring closet-cleaning, or time to think about what you would like to have for that next Leather Dress Code Night?  Well, this is the time to come out and swap some gear, or maybe buy something new! 

Run XXX will be hosting a leather swap in the 9th Floor meeting space from 4:30-6:00pm, Saturday.   Please bring your gently-used leather or fetish items so that other interested attendees can view and arrange a swap or purchase with you.  This is an attendees-driven event, so the Conductors will be hosting the space, but will not be handling cash or donations. 

So that attendees can get an advance look at items that will be at the Swap, we will have a page set up on our website, www.conductors.net.   Please send in a picture (feel free to model – but nothing too racy!) along with your name and email address, and we will post the picture online.

Boot Black Bonanza

The Conductors are once again honored to have the support of an All Star Crew of Boot Blacks whose sole purpose at this Run is to make sure your boots, all of your boots – every last one you own is cleaned and shined and ready for wearing.  All funds raised will go to our PWA Charity Fund.  This year we are extremely proud to have:  Bootdog - Andrew J.- IMLBB 08, Boy Devon- Ohio Leather Alliance Bootblack, Girl Dale - The Current SE Community Bootblack from Georgia and last but not least, Jarhead from Minnesota who is competing again at IML this spring for the second time and is the current Brotherhood Winner from IMLBB.  But of course, no Boot Black event would be complete without the one and only Boot Black Rock Star Arthur F.  - Better known to many as “Boo Boo”.

Barber Service

Long week – long day – just couldn’t find the time to get the hair cut or face hair trimmed for your Trip to Nashville?  Not too worry.  Your favorite Conductor Barber Chris E. will be offering his services Friday night.  Just drop a Chris a note if you think you might need his cutting/trimming expertise.  Face and head only – unless you have a special arrangement with Chris. (nudge nudge, wink wink – say no more)

Cocktail Parties

As with all Leather Runs – and of course – MACC meeting hosted Leather Runs – several clubs look to host a Cocktail Party.  For TRACK XXX, we have 16 to offer and you can find them on our web site.  This year, there is a twist.  All Clubs who are hosting a cocktail party MUST supply a non-alcoholic version of their punch.  This will be judged along with the Cocktail Party theme and official cocktail.   We know you will be creative with your extreme themes and imaginations.

12 Step Leather Club Meeting

The 12 Step Leather Club is an informal organization for leather folk in a program of recovery, and their supporters, for the purpose of networking, socialization and support.  The 12 Step Leather Club will be hosting a meeting early Saturday morning for all who are interested.  This is an open meeting - meaning EVERYONE is welcome to attend and learn more about this organization.

XXX Anniversary Show

Well, what can we say – it wouldn’t be a proper Conductor Anniversary if there wasn’t some kind of simple, thoughtful, environmentally friendly Show to share.   Don’t count on that happening, I am sure we can put together something wicked, something wild and something that is extremely in good & bad & entertain-able taste.
